For
over 20 years, Peter Lumby
has worked as a professional Storyboard and Concept Artist.
He grew up in
York, UK, before moving to London to study Illustration at the
University of Westminster. He began his career drawing commercial
storyboards for numerous production companies where he developed his
skills in visual storytelling and the understanding of narrative
within the entertainment industry. He has worked on storyboard
commercials such as Stella Artois, Barclaycard, Phillips, Sauza 901,
Tonka, I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and Lego to name just a
few.
During his early
career, Peter co-wrote and illustrated three self-published graphic
novels centred around the satirical world of Tozzer. After
illustrating the web comic Carmaggedon: TDR 2000 for video games
publisher SCI, he
continued to further his career within the games industry as a
Concept Artist.
Peter has
contributed his talents to many video game projects such as Ghost
Rider, Stolen, Zubo, Overlord: Minions, Rocket Knight, Wonderbook:
Book of Potions, Singstar, Sony VR Worlds and Narcos: Rise of the
Cartels. He is an expert in using Photoshop and Sketchbook Pro, and is well versed in Maya, Zbrush and Blender.
His video game clients include, but are not limited to: Electronic Arts, Climax Games, Marvel Interactive, Disney Interactive, Konami, Code Masters, 2K Games, GREE Inc, Sony London Studio and Curve Digital. Advertising and Production companies he has worked with include: Nexus Studio, Gas and Electric, Stink Digital, Itch Film, Realize Studio, Banana Split Productions, Kazoo Creative, ITV, Strangebeast, Splicer & Moore, Disney Media +, Molinare and Nickelodeon.
